Turkey Tour

Day 01 : SATURDAY

ISTANBUL > FD CITY TOUR - OVERNIGHT AT ANKARA EXPRESS SLEEPING TRAIN

Arrive to Istambul Ataturk airport, meet & greet with Airport Representative or Guide and transfer to Old City. Start Fullday city tour with a visit to the main historical center of Istambul, Sultanahmet with its Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman monuments. The monuments to be visited are the Blue Mosque, Roman Hippodrome (Obelisk of Theodosius, serpent column, brick column, Kaiser Wilhelm II fountain), the Hagla Sophia, the Topkapi Palace with its Treasury and Sacred Trust sections. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. Visit famous Grand Bazaar. Dinner at local Restaurant and transfer to Sirkeci Train. Overnight in Ankara Express Sleeping Train.

Day 02 : SUNDAY

ANKARA > CAPPADOCIA

Arrive to Ankara and Tour start in the morning with world-wide famous Anatolian Civilizations Museum also known as lunch on the way. After a picturesque trip along the Salt Lake visit to the 13th century Seljukian Caravanseral Agzikarahan. Arrival to the Cappadocia region and overnight.

Day 3 : MONDAY

CAPPADOCIA

After having breakfast in the hotel visit to the Pigeon Valley near Uchisar; then proceed to the Open Air Museum in Goreme through Avcilar Valley and visit to the early Christian churches decorated with unique frescoes depicting various scenes from the Bible. Lunch in a restaurant and then visit to Kaymakli Underground City, the place early Christians hid from persecutors. Pasabagi in Zelve region and Avanos with shopping facilities for the world-wide famous handicrafts. Overnight in Cappadocia.

Day 04 : TUESDAY

CAPPADOCIA > KONYA > PAMUKKALE

Early departure for Pamukkale. On the way visit to the 13 th century Seljukian masterpiece Sultanhan Caravanserai and arrival in Konya. Lunch. After visiting the Mausoleum of Mevlana, the world-wide famous mystic, proceed to Karatay Theological School in which beautiful tiles are on display. Drive to Pamukkale and overnight.

Day 05 : WEDNESDAY

PAMUKKALE > KUSADASI

In the morning visit to the ancient Hierapolis with the Theatre, Apollo Temple and magnificent Necropolis, the graveyard. Then drive to Aphrodisias and lunch. Later visit to ruins and the museum. Drive to Kusadasi and overnight.

Day 06 : THURSDAY

KUSADASI

Morning tour to Ephesus area with Ephesus Antique City (Hillside Houses are excluded), Temple of Artemis, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world; Virgin Mary's House, Selcuk Ephesus Museum and St. John Church. Overnight in Kusadasi.

Day 07 : FRIDAY

KUSADASI > BERGAMA > CANAKKALE

Early departure for Bergama and visit to the Asciepion and Acropol with the well preserved remains. Lunch and drive to Assos for a short visit to the village. Overnight at a simple but a cosy hotel in Assos or Canakkale.

DAY 08 : SATURDAY

CANAKKALE > ISTANBUL

After breakfast drive to Troy, the place where the Legendary Trojan War took place in the historical work of Homer of Smyrna. After visiting the site with nine inhabitation levels covering a period of 3000 years, drive to Canakkale and lunch. Thereafter sall to the other side of Dardanelles by a ferryboat and drive to Istanbul with visit to Gallipoli, historically famous for being the site of many battles - particularly involving the Alilled Forces including Australians and New Zealanders during World War I. Arrival in Istanbul and transfer to the hotel or airport.

DAY 09 : SUNDAY

FREE DAY - ISTANBUL

Breakfast at Hotel & Free at Leisure until pick up time for Transfer to Airport. ****End Of Services****
